This is a Geometry Wars style shmup. I like the mechanics, graphics, and sound effects. I do wish the game offerred unlocks\/progression in the form of new arena shapes, weapons, and armor. The baddies do get progressively more difficult though and exhibit some new patterns as you progress. The first time I started this game, it did not show me my 16:9 resolution options, but it did show them on the second try. I feel pretty good about the purchase overall.
